[WCC Charter for Change, Opening Statements]
The Women’s Climate Congress (WCC) is coming to Newcastle to meet with Novocastrian women to introduce WCC’s Charter for Change to your community. and breathe ‘life’ into the Charter by inviting participants to reflect on ways to implement its calls for action.
WCC Founder Janet Salisbury, along with founding members Lyn Stephens and Barbara Baikie, are coming to introduce the Charter followed by an invitation to reflect on how women, individually or collectively, and in their local community, can lead and participate in Charter-aligned actions.
We hope that the event will empower women to develop their own cultural, social, artistic, economic or operational responses through facilitated creative and interactive small group sessions.
