We’re thrilled to officially introduce Meg Williams, CEO of World of WearableArt, as our speaker for the next Women of Pōneke signature event.

Meg is an internationally acclaimed leader in creativity and storytelling, having brought awe-inspiring wearable art to life on global stages — from Wellington’s TSB Arena to festivals worldwide. She has spent over two decades curating awe, imagination and connection through bold, theatrical experiences.

We will be serving wine, beer and amazing non-alcoholic drinks, inclusive in the ticket price. Platters will also be shared throughout the evening.

To cover our costs, we are charging for this event. We know that things are tough at the moment for many, so if this is a barrier for you to attend, please contact us and we will do everything to support you to attend.

Tickets for previous events have sold out fast. For this event we are capped at 200 people attending and we will be updating our social media channels on the progress of the ticket sales, so get your tickets quick.  

Accessibility
The National Library is fully accessible. If you are not able to use the steps on Molesworth Street, you will be able to access the venue via the lift off Aitken Street. There will be staff at the door to be able to support and guide you to the venue space.

Me.We.Pōneke is our signature quarterly event designed to inspire, connect and raise the voices of our wonderful community of Wellington women, and people who identify as women. 

We believe that magic happens when women come together. We’ve seen it. We’ve felt it. And we want to create more of it with regular events that are open, welcoming, supportive and empowering for the women of Wellington.
