Event description

Welcome Meg Williams: living with creativity, awe and imagination

We’re thrilled to officially introduce Meg Williams, CEO of World of WearableArt, as our speaker for the next Women of Pōneke signature event on the 7th of August at The National Library.

Meg is an internationally acclaimed leader in creativity and live events. Over two decades she has worked with artists from around the world and brought major festivals and events to audiences in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and the U.K.

This is an extra special time for us to hear from Meg as WOW celebrates 20 years in Pōneke. The uplifting 2025 WOW Show: RISE, is set in an imaginary city illuminated with the creative spirit, and offers us the chance to “ignite what lies within”.

Join us to hear Meg share how she has discovered the power of awe including:
• Goosebump moments from her life in the arts and at WOW
• The power of creativity in leadership and wellbeing
• How we can awaken wonder in our own lives and the communities we walk in

Meg will inspire your imagination and consider how to unleash your passions, whatever they may be and however hidden they may feel.
