Women of the Murray-Darling Dinner with guest speaker Jana Pittman
Event description
Join Council for the inaugural Women of the Murray-Darling Dinner—a night bringing women together for connection, collaboration and shared learning.
Our keynote speaker Dr Jana Pittman is one of Australia’s most accomplished dual-career professionals: a two-time World Champion and four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist in athletics who later competed at the Winter Olympic Games in bobsleigh. After sport, Jana completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (First Class Honours and University Medal), a Masters of Reproductive Medicine, and is undertaking a PhD in Obstetrics, focusing on uterus transplantation. She now works as a doctor in Women’s Health and serves as an ambassador for the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation.
Across the evening you will enjoy a catered dinner, entertainment by DJ Ash, and time to build new connections. Proceeds support the establishment and activities of the Women of the Murray-Darling network.
This event is proudly supported by RZ Resources, Community Bank Wentworth & District (Bendigo Bank) and Wentworth Shire Council.
