Get Ready for Women on Wheels Geraldton
It’s time to dust off your wheels, put on your most glamorous outfit, and strap on your helmet—because Women on Wheels Geraldton is here again! After the resounding success of the 2024 event, we’re back to celebrate active travel, community connections and International Women’s Day to honour the incredible social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide.
With wheels of all kinds welcome, you can ride your bike, glide on a scooter, stroll with a pram, or even break out those retro 80s roller skates—just don’t forget your helmet!
This year’s 8km route starts at Bob Davies Park, opposite Geraldton's iconic lighthouse. From there, participants will enjoy a relaxed coastal journey south along Geraldton’s stunning shoreline to Glendinning Park, before looping back to the Geraldton Surf Club. At the finish line tables, chairs and shade will be provided which is a great way to unwind with your friends whilst enjoying a complimentary coffee and the opportunity to purchase delicious, healthy lunch options.
Feel free to bring your favourite tunes, go at your own pace, and take plenty of breaks (and selfies!) along the way. Don’t forget to share the fun using #WomenOnWheelsGeraldton and tag the City in your social media posts!
