Perfect for those who are interested in welding and metal fabrication. This one day course introduces you to the metal working and welding processes for working with MIG welders.

In this course, you will be introduced to:

· Welding safety

· Cutting and preparing mild steel

· MIG welding techniques: tacking work together and running a weld bead,

MIG techniques: different types of welds - tacking, butt and fillet welds.

· Steel clean up and finishing

What to bring: Yourself. All tools, materials and safety equipment are included in the registration. Morning Tea (tea, coffee and biscuits) is provided. BYO lunch.

What to wear: long pants, a long-sleeved shirt (no synthetic materials, please!) and sturdy closed-in boots or shoes.

We provide welding helmets, safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.

At WOTT we keep our classes small to optimise your learning experience. Any cancellations or transfers, therefore, have an effect on our ability to deliver these classes (and may even result in the cancellation of the course). Please consider your dates carefully prior to booking.

Our cancellation and refund/transfer policy is as follows:

- cancellation up to 7 days prior to the course: full refund or transfer to a new course date.
- cancellation up to 2 days prior to the course: 50% refund/no transfer. You will then be required to rebook into the preferred course.
- cancellation less than 48h prior to the course: no refund or transfer available.
