    Women's Breathwork Gathering 
    • Limited to 10 spaces
    • Saturday 21st September
    • 3pm-5pm

    IMPORTANT: Please bring a blanket, water bottle, and wear comfortable, warm clothes. An eye mask can be nice to for meditation. Please refrain from eating anything heavy within and hour or two prior to the session. 

    We gather on a Saturday afternoon to connect into our bodies via movement, breathwork and sound. You can expect a fully guided experience, intended to bring you into a deep state of relaxation for the week to come.

    We will come together, land into the space and meet one another. You will be then guided into a movement practice, which will follow on with a fully guided breathwork session. You will then be guided into a meditative state and immersed with the sounds of drumming, crystal bowls and chimes to integrate and heal.

    There are many benefits to movement and breathwork practices. A lot of us hold tension in our body due to everyday life and generally are not breathing to our fullest capacity. When we are shallow breathing we tend to be sitting in the sympathetic nervous system and this can bring on feelings of anxiety and stress, when we are experiences heightened emotions our mind struggles to stop. Deep longer periods of breathing can awaken tensions and stagnant energy in the body, once these tensions are released then the body feels safe to come into relaxation and calm. The benefits of breathwork and movement practices are endless. With deeper breaths we are bringing more oxygen into the system, which encourages blood circulation, release of tension in the muscles, strengthening the respiratory system, balances the nervous system, increases lung capacity, detoxification of toxins to name a few. Once tension in the body is released there is less energy stuck in the body, which is what is causing us to have a busy chaotic mind. Breathwork is also an amazing gateway to being able to have a deeper mediation practice, cultivating inner peace and a deeper connection with yourself. The addition of the vibrations from the sounds, particularly from the crystal bowls, bring the brain into a deeper state of relaxation.
