These circles provide a nurturing and safe space for women to heal, connect with their bodies, hearts, and inner wisdom, and foster deep connections with one another.

In these circles, we consciously create an environment that challenges the patriarchal programming of competition and comparison. Instead, we cultivate a culture of compassion and profound respect for the collective experiences women encounter, learn from, and grow through.

By gathering in a circle, we embark on a journey of dismantling our internalized patriarchal systems. We simply sit together, allowing ourselves to feel our emotions and show up authentically, unmasked, vulnerable, and real.

What to expect in a circle:

The circle opens with a grounding meditation, where we connect with the Earth, our breath, and our bodies.

We are encouraged to let go of the societal roles that women often assume in their lives – the comforter, rescuer, nurturer, or selfless caretaker – and instead embrace our individuality.

We engage in a talking/listening circle, where each woman is given the gift of uninterrupted time to share and be heard.

We practice active listening from the sacred witness perspective, fostering deep understanding and empathy.

The circle concludes with a deeply relaxing guided yoga nidra session.

What to bring to the circle:

An item for the altar that symbolizes your current state of being (e.g., a talisman, nature object, crystal, photo, poem, or anything meaningful to you)
A water bottle and a keep cup
A warm blanket or shawl large enough to cover yourself during the guided relaxation
A journal and pen for personal reflections
An open heart and an open mind

These women's circles are hosted by Arahni Lion, Teacher, Shamanic Craftswoman, Healing Practitioner and Guide.

Arahni walks her own shamanic path of healing and transformation and serves to re-awaken the innate healing wisdom and soul nature within others.

For 20 years Arahni worked in trauma responsive support services, safe refuges, street work and schools with young people and women and children in therapeutic work. She designed and facilitate peer prevention programs in sexual assault, domestic violence, alcohol and other drugs and sexual health.

For the last decade, Arahni studied intensively with School of Shamanic Womancraft, a Women's Mysteries school, and is a graduate teacher of the Four Seasons Journey, guide on the Earth Woman online course and facilitator of Becoming A Woman workshops for mothers & daughters.

Practicing the healing arts of holistic counselling, shamanic womancrafting, intuitive body work and compassionate enquiry, she works alongside those who seek guidance to re-orient themselves through life's challenges, transformations and transmutations, from the altar of birth to the final rite of death.

Arahni offers positive menstrual education, 1:1 private sessions, reclaiming ceremonies, healing rituals, sacred circles and coming of age year-long journeys for mothers & daughters in her community and beyond.

Arahni lives on the lands of the Wodi Wodi people on Dharawal Country and acknowledges that sovereignty has never been ceded.
