What happens at a Women's Circle?

In an MGM Women’s Circle, the theory of matrescence gives mothers space to explore their experiences through journaling and sharing opportunities. We also include a gentle movement practice and meditation. The Circle finishes with a shared long-table lunch.

What is this season's theme?

Matrescence and transcendence - going deeper into the themes of matrescence and building trust in the sisterhood.

People have such big lives. You only scratch the surface in everyday interactions. Our closed Circles have shown me the value of providing a regular gathering space for women.

We do big work together in Circle - there is big work to be done in returning women to ourselves and creating momentum for change.

Together we're changing the script of motherhood and womanhood.

We will gather over a six-month season from June to November 2023.

18 June, 16 July, 20 August, 17 September, 22 October, 19 November.

MGM Women's Circles are Sundays 9am to 1pm at Sophia, Cumberland Park.

Who are they for?

How long does matrescence last? - Forever!

MGM Circles are best suited to mothers emerging from the first year of motherhood, wondering, “What now?”. Mothers of children of all ages are welcome.

What else?

Places in the Circle are limited to 12 people to ensure a meaningful experience, where everyone can be seen and held. As well as a nourishing experience, the ticket price includes tea, snacks and lunch catered by The Golden Month. All meals are plant-based.

The investment for this season is $800, which I will invoice once you book your ticket on this platform.

If you require a payment plan - please select this option when you book. The payment plan requires three payments of $270 over six months, invoiced when you book and then in August and October.

Bookings are unconfirmed until the full or first payment is received.

Please note

If you are new to MGM Circles - I will invite you to have a short phone chat with me before I confirm your booking to ensure we are aligned. Six months is a long time to be together if we're not vibing. That being said, if you're here, I imagine we're aligned.

Accessibility

- Our venue is wheelchair accessible. If you require additional accessibility support, please provide details in your booking form.

- There is one sponsored place for a mama experiencing financial barriers to participation. I trust that if you choose this place, you will have exhausted all avenues available for making a financial contribution.
