Event description

Welcome to the Women's Community Connection WA March event.

This event is intended as a co-created space in which we meet as equals, as women seeking deeper connection within and with each other in the frenetic and fast-paced environment within which we exist. This is an intentional space, offered as an opportunity for respite, reflection and deep relaxation for your body, your mind and your spirit.

Throughout history, women have always come together. To share, support, advise, and most importantly to CONNECT. This is an opportunity to bring simple ritual and connection into your life. A chance to be seen and heard and LOVED.

Facilitation and space holding is by Kristen Thackray from Carinyah Bodywork however, you are invited to share knowledge, wisdom and guidance. If you wish to contribute in any way, please contact Kristen on 0429503944.

Explore meditation, Shamanic journeying and guided visualisation, drumming, sound healing and vibration, aromatherapy, the senses, holistic self-care practices, movement and embodiment, self-massage, and consciousness, soul and emotional exploration and expansion practices.

TICKETING

This is intended as a not-for-profit event. Ticket costs will contribute towards space hire and other overheads. Additional profit will be donated to an agreed charity on behalf of the group. Different options are provided based on your circumstance, and I invite you to select accordingly.

March EVENT

This event will focus on RECOVERY.

Addiction and recovery. Shared stories of surrender, resilience, growth and freedom.

As a person who has experienced addiction, both as the child of an addict and as one myself, I wish to share with you many of the ways in which I found and transformed myself when I stopped drinking. How hitting my own 'rock bottom' gave me the opportunity to radically change the way I interact with the world, and the practices that provided the necessary means by which I chose to live a spiritual life.

Whether this is a personal story for you, or for somebody you love, please come listen or share your wisdom. This session will touch on practical and holistic ways in which to aid recovery, whether it be from drugs and alcohol, food, exercise, shopping or work addictions. A gentle and safely nurturing space in which you are welcomed with open and loving arms.

Please bring the following:

- A small item that represents addiction or recovery

- Yoga Mat, pillow, bolster, blanket, eye pillow, etc.

- Water Bottle

- An open mind and a kind heart

I look forward to seeing you amongst the trees, in the gorgeous location of Martin in the Perth Hills.

Kristen
