This year's event will be hosted as hybrid in Auckland by the UN Women Aotearoa NZ Auckland Committee and virtually from anywhere in the world, bringing people together to celebrate and empower women in business. With a distinguished list of industry leaders scheduled to speak on this year's theme; DAO, Crypto and Web 3.0, we aim to support UN Women's economic empowerment initiative in the Pacific, 'Markets for Change'.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is a day on which the work of women entrepreneurs is observed and discussed each year. The inaugural event was held in New York City at the United Nations, and WED continues to be celebrated with events being held simultaneously in 144 countries around the world.
