Event description

The Women’s Financial Wellbeing seminar is designed to give you the information you need to better manage your hard-earned money, understand superannuation, and adopt strategies to control your debt.

The seminar will be facilitated by an experienced financial expert, Dianne Charman CFP, who will cover topics such as setting wellness priorities, budgeting and cashflow, good debt vs bad debt, and demystifying your superannuation statement.

You will also hear from a representative of the Women's Legal Service Queensland, a community legal organisation that provides assistance to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients.

This event is for all women, regardless of age or circumstance - you will all walk away with a better understanding of your finances.

Hosted by the Zonta Club of Pine Rivers, the free half-day seminar is funded by a community grant from Community Bank Samford and supported by UniSC Moreton Bay Golden Z Club.

What to bring:

  • Your latest superannuation statement (don't worry, it won't be shared with others but you can refer to it when we work through what it means) or try to organise online access to your super account on your phone or other device so you can refer to that.
  • Your reusable water bottle (bottled water will be available).
