Women’s Walking Meet-Up – Gold Coast

Calling all local women who love walking, hiking, or just getting outside for some fresh air and connection! Come join us for a relaxed and friendly walk this Saturday in beautiful Palm Beach – the weather’s looking sunny and perfect!

We'll enjoy a gentle 45 min to 1 hr walk (all fitness levels welcome!), with plenty of time to chat, laugh, and make new connections. I’ll also share a little about the upcoming Hike to Thrive intermediate hiking program kicking off on 9 June, plus a few simple safety tips for walking solo or in small groups.

Whether you’re a regular hiker or just curious to meet like-minded women, we’d love to have you there.

SCHEDULE:

8:00am Intro

8:05am Walk

9:00-9:15am Chat and Q&A

9:15am onwards coffee/chai at local cafe for chats (optional)

LOCATION: Palm Beach, QLD (meet-up location will be provided on registration)

WHAT TO BRING:

* Water bottle with 1L of water

* Hat, shoes, sunscreen, raincoat (weather dependent), mozzie repellant (optional we'll be walking through a short forested area)

NOTE:
- The event is for women 18yrs+
- You'll need to sign a waiver to participate in this event
- Beginners welcome. You'll need to be able to walk up to 1hr. The trail is board walk, sand and wide bush paths.
- Please be responsible and aware of your physical and mental abilities and only choose to participate if it's right for you and your body. This event is not intended as therapy, please seek advice from health professionals if this is what you are needing.
- The host will monitor weather conditions and will only cancel the event if there is extreme weather. We will still walk in rain if safe to do so (it's part of the fun). Refunds will only be provided if the host cancels the event due to weather, although the host will make every attempt to reschedule
