Event description
Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death in women in New Zealand?
And that hormones play a huge role in heart health, especially around menopause and other times of change?
Would you like to become empowered to improve your heart health, blood pressure, and cholesterol naturally?
Or do you want to learn how to help common symptoms, such as palpitations, breathing problems, or fatigue, with a holistic yet science based approach?
If so, please join us in Nelson or online this month for our women's healthy heart evening - Thursday 1st June from 7-9pm!
In this 2 hour workshop, we'll explore:
how nutrition, lifestyle, movement, stress, sleep, environment and relationships impact on heart health
why and how women's hearts are so different to mens
heart risk factors for women that you may not have been told about
how stress, breathing, and our nervous system can affect heart symptoms (and what you can do about it)
the role of different types of movement for heart health
simple evidence based ways to improve your own heart health, and become empowered for better wellbeing, both now and in the future
Plus learn practical exercises for breathing and movement, and enjoy some delicious heart healthy food and drinks (in person tickets only), to find out just how good moving and eating for a healthy heart can feel and taste!
You'll go home with new knowledge, strategies, and confidence to start optimizing your heart health today ❤️
(If you can't make the live event, you can view the recording for up to 2 weeks after if you purchase a ticket, so make sure you sign up if you want to join us)
We're super excited to be running this after our sold out gut health workshop last month - grab your tickets early so you don't miss out!
For just $49 for in person tickets, or $39 online (plus booking fee), this might be the best investment you ever make - as good health is priceless 😊
