Women's Monthly Hike-Fit Retreat (half day)

Are you ready to move, connect, and nourish your body and soul? Lace up your hiking shoes and join us for a refreshing 1 hour fitness hike through scenic trails that promise stunning views and invigorating climbs. Join our community of women meeting each month for this gathering which is followed by a well deserved community brunch. This hike features a varied terrain route that will take you through beautiful nature paths on private property. Led by an experienced outdoor leader the session will focus on endurance, strength and stamina building whilst focusing on mindful movement, helping you connect with your body and nature.
After our energising hike, we’ll gather for a nourishing shared 2 course brunch, allowing you to build meaningful connections with local women who are also on their wellness journeys. Don’t miss this chance to empower yourself, connect with nature, and create lasting friendships. After brunch the afternoon will be spent connecting deeper with nature through mindfulness practices.
🥾 Fitness Hike: After a warm up, experience a grade 3 nature trail with varying terrain on private property (1-1.5hrs of walking depending on fitness level) - please contact Lotus if you have questions about your skill and ability
🥾 Nature Connection: Along the way there will be opportunities to slow down and connect with nature through nature-based practices.
🥾 Community Connection: Meet local like-minded women, share tips, and make new friends who share your passion for adventure and hiking.
🥾 Post-Hike Celebration: After completing the trail, join in on the cool down stretching and join us for a well-deserved 2 course brunch featuring an array of delicious foods including summer fruits, sourdough with condiments, teas and coffee and other yummy delights (all vegetarian and vegan)(gf options available on request please inform host).
🥾 Outdoor Education: education share and discussion on topics relevant to women's hiking.

TIME: 8am - 12:30/1pm
LOCATION: Nestled midway between Burleigh Heads and Byron Bay on a beautiful private property near Murwillumbah, NSW (full address provided on ticket purchase)
WHAT TO BRING: * Water bottle with 2Ls of water* Hat, hiking shoes/boots, sunscreen, raincoat (weather dependent), mozzie repellant (natural if possible), hiking poles (if you need them for steep hills)

NOTE:
- The event is for women 18yrs+
- You'll need to sign a waiver to participate in this event.
- Moderate level of fitness is required for a grade 3 hike. The trail is fairly well maintained but there is uneven surfaces, steep drop offs and slippery surfaces. There is a large incline and decline on a wide track. The trail is on private property.
- Please be responsible and aware of your physical and mental abilities and only choose to participate if it's right for you and your body. This event is not intended as therapy, please seek advice from health professionals if this is what you are needing.
- The host will monitor weather conditions and will only cancel the event if there is extreme weather. We will still walk in rain if safe to do so (it's part of the fun). Refunds will only be provided if the host cancels the event due to weather, although the host will make every attempt to reschedule.
