Co-host of The Westminster Tradition podcast, Managing Director of The Good Trouble Group, and former Deputy Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet SA.

Alison is a culture, leadership, and strategy nerd with decades of public sector and executive leadership experience. Known for her fresh, cheeky, and fearless approach, she’s passionate about empowering women to lead authentically, drive bold outcomes, and make good trouble where it matters most.

Kayla Johnson (She/Her)
Co-founder and Managing Director of The Good Trouble Group, Kayla has strong background in senior public service roles, including Director of Population Strategy in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

Kayla brings critical insight in economics, policy, and management and an unwavering commitment to action, not reports, hoping to drive innovative solutions to complex challenges. A fervent advocate for community building and inclusion, she’s known for choosing questions like “What has you most excited right now?” over school-based small talk, ensuring migrants and newcomers feel genuinely welcomed.
