Event description
Randwick Town Hall is illuminated with fierce female and non-binary leads as women’s voices vibrate across the night. Soak in the sounds of six musical acts across an hour and a half as some of Sydney’s most exciting singers descend on Randwick. Women’s Work highlights the multidisciplinary creative talents of women and non-binary artists – staged inside the annual Women’s Art Prize which features 150 artworks by women of all ages. Explore artworks large and small across painting, drawing, textile, sculpture, and digital media then relax into sonic sensations reverberating across the town hall. Hosted by Maeve Marsden (Queerstories), the lineup includes: Free event, registration required with capacity strictly limited. Access The main entrance is via double doors located on Frances Street. From this entrance there are 8 steps with handrails to reach the hall. There is a wheelchair accessible entry via the carpark on Avoca Street. There is an accessible car park located on Frances Street. The event will be seated. Auslan Interpretation will be available with reserved seating at the front right of the seating bank.
