Introducing ‘Choosing The Climb’: an insightful conversation on diversity, inclusion and ethics within, and beyond, the realm of climbing.

This event is in collaboration with Jo from Women Uprising and Minty from Adaptive Climbing Victoria, both experienced climbers who are fighting the uphill battle for inclusion and equity in the climbing space.

Tickets required as limited spots available. Event open to all.

All proceeds will go to Olive Kids as part of our commitment to solidarity for Palestinians experiencing genocide in Gaza.⁣ Olive Kids supports Palestinian Children in Palestine and the refugee camps in neighbouring countries. The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of Palestinian children, through financial support, education & medical assistance.

We are committed to empowering women with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make their own decisions in the outdoors. Women’s specific workshops are crucial to how we learn - a space where we don’t have to worry about being judged, for ‘not learning fast enough’ or being ‘strong enough’, and to see that there are other women who are committed to growing without competition. From guided day trips, trad climbing workshops, retreats and climbing festivals - our work is led by what the community wants and needs. Women Uprising is for women and gender non conforming folks who are comfortable in women-centered spaces.
