WOVEN: A Women's Weaving Circle
Gather & Grow Rural Women's Program 2026
Weaving circles are a great way to share knowledge, strengthen connections & celebrate community! Join Aunty Valda Murray and Aunty Glennys Briggs to learn traditional weaving skills that have been shared for hundreds of generations. Whether this is your first attempt at weaving or you wish to refine your existing skills come along and enjoy the company of other rural women.
Places are limited so book early to make sure you don't miss out! Girls aged 10 years and older are welcome to participate but must book a ticket. Children younger than 10 are able to come along to observe and enjoy the outdoor playground.

No previous weaving expertise required.

While we are able to cater for vegetarian options at our events it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement due to our limited funding. If you have dietary requirements outside of these two options please bring your own food and drink.
