After the popularity of our previous two part events, our Autumn event will also be in two parts.

PART ONE 10.30-12 (arrive from 10, follow the signs for parking)

(OPTIONAL) BUSY BEE and FARM TOUR

The season is shifting to cooler days and it is a joyful time to come together! We will be helping Hannah for an hour and putting some extra love into the syntropic garden beds, experiencing some chop and drop and immersing in the layers of the multi-story planting. Learn about the in depth planning that is transforming this old grazing farm, using multitudes of regenerative practices.

We understand you might not want to get grubby or worky on your day off the farm, so arrive absolutely guilt free, for 12 if you are coming for lunch only. Just let us know at the checkout.

PART TWO 12-2PM

DELICIOUS LUNCH

Local caterer and WwF member Renata, will be providing a delicious local lunch spread, including organic produce from the farm. Followed by delicious sweet treats to enjoy with a cuppa from Bellingen Organic Tea. You will enjoy this nourishing, fresh & hand-made, feel good food. Gluten free option at checkout.

There is also the option to cool off in the pool or beautiful spring fed dam if it's a hot day.

ABOUT THE FARM - Hannah and Cameron (along with their children Wyatt and Louella) have been farming regeneratively in the Central Tablelands of NSW with a focus on grazing and pasture management. They recently moved to smaller acreage in the Thora Valley with the view to create a fully ecologically integrated, diverse and productive farm. Their vision is to work with nature to regenerate the natural resources, grow nutrient dense food and foster community sovereignty through resilient localised food systems. They are in the early stages of whole farm planning in an attempt to efficiently and effectively integrate successional agroforestry, silvopasture and forest floor dwelling animals. ABOUT THE WOMEN WHO FARM NETWORK

Women Who Farm, is a growing, independent network in NSW, started by farmers Tara Luca (Olive Gap Farm) and Venetia Scott (co-ordinator Young Farmers Connect) in the Northern rivers in 2020. The mid north coast chapter of WWF sprang from this inspiration and is coordinated by Rosi Klass (Bellingen Organic Tea).

The WwF network are connecting and supporting women (identifying and non-binary) who work in agriculture, farming and the local food network. We also welcome those who are starting on their journey in the field.

We come together seasonally to enjoy great local food, stories and conversation, network and socialise in a relaxed space.

Events have also included farm tours, working bees and educational speakers.
