Women with Balls (Filled with Confidence)

This May, we are talking about balls... More specifically, women with balls (filled with confidence). Join us as we explore the importance of being ballsy and the difference it can make in your business. Joining the panel this month are Megan Anderson and Giorgina Venzin!

Megan is a highly accomplished international netball coach and Australian Diamonds Netball player who has achieved significant success throughout her career Including playing and coaching for the Australian Diamonds, The Queensland Firebirds and the Sydney Swifts. She has also worked heavily in the media as a presenter and guest on sports shows, including The New Inventors on ABC, The Footy Show on Channel 9 and many more. Now she works for Stella Management, championing female athletes in Australia and pioneering change in women's sport.

Giorgina Venzin, also known as “The Cafe Girl” is the Owner and Managing Director of The Venzin Group. She has transformed the hospitality scene over the past 11 years, opening 12 venues and currently running 4 including Brisbane's iconic Pawpaw Cafe. Giorgina doesn't plan to stop there, with future projects of opening a coffee roastery and expanding to online sales in the works. 

We cannot wait to hear from these two incredible ladies!

If you have not been to one of our events before, here is what you need to know:

• Your ticket includes a sit-down meal from a local restaurant or caterer, desserts and a drink on arrival. A cash bar is available to purchase drinks in addition.
• Our events are for Entrepreneurs, CEO's and Intrapreneurs (those working in a leadership and management positions in other companies).
• This is not your average networking event. We cannot tell you our secrets just yet, but you will meet some epic people and have some epic conversations. No awkward small talk or sales pitches allowed.
• We have an anti-loner policy. If you are coming alone one of our team will meet you at the door and discreetly introduce you to some people so you are not left standing in a corner awkwardly staring at your shoes. We got you.
• We like food. There will be plenty and it will be delicious.
• We are focused on learning what we need to do to up-level our businesses and careers.
• There is street parking at the venue in the surrounding streets. We do draw a crowd so be aware this can be a short walk away.
• We attract some of Brisbane's most epic businesswomen... in our humble but clearly right opinion.
• There are no cliques. All are welcome and all are included.
