An evening at Men's Shed Tauranga for Womens Refuge

Join NAWIC BOP members and Men's Shed Tauranga for an evening on the tools crafting outdoor games to donate to the Tauranga Women's Refuge.

DATE & TIME: Thursday the 13th of June, 2024, 5.00pm - 9.30pm

MEET AT: Men's Shed Tauranga, Historic Village, Seventeenth Ave, Tauranga.

COST: $10 for NAWIC members, $20 for non-members + Booking fees & GST (All ticket sales will be donated to the Women's Refuge) 

PPE REQUIREMENTS: Hi-vis vest and steel-cap boots. *Please bring hearing & eye protection if you would prefer using a certain type, otherwise, there will be some available. 

Dinner & refreshments will be catered for by us - please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. 

ABOUT THE EVENT: 

The Men's shed is a Trades Based Community Shed, with access to a great workshop filled with a wide range of tools and skilled volunteers.

We would like to build some outdoor games to donate to the local Women’s Refuge. We will also be putting together a care package for them, so please feel free to bring any suitable donations along to add to this.

Come along and learn a new skill, get creative and have a laugh with some like minded men and women, all while helping an amazing local charity group.
