    Event description

In this workshop, the Women's Ethnic Network (WEN) will cover information about Queensland laws and victim rights in family and domestic contexts. We want to facilitate a discussion between the community and the service providers who will be present at this workshop. We will have representatives from the following service providers in attendance:

    • Centre Against Sexual Violence
    • Department of Home Affairs
    • Women's Legal Service Queensland

One of the goals of our workshop is to educate community leaders on how to respond to Domestic Family Violence, including coercive control, and become familiar with the service providers in the sector and what they can do.

This event is open to WEN members, as well as friends of members. Please bring along women in your life who you believe may benefit from this event!

Lunch will be provided for this event, and it is totally free! Places are limited so please get in quick!
