WomenzShed Wood Club (Term 1 2023)

WOMENZSHED WOOD CLUB
Since learning woodwork skills is a never ending journey, we want to offer women the opportunity to practice existing, as well as learn more skills with Membership of the WomenzShed Wood Club. We aim to support women who have started their woodwork, DIY or trade journey and are looking to gain more experience.
The Club will run from to 6 pm to 8.30 pm on Tuesday evenings for 10 weeks at a time (approximately in line with school terms). We will have an experienced instructor available to provide the support you need to help you with your projects and enable you to work safely and knowledgeably with all the resources available in the extensive wood workshop.
Each week we will run a short demo of a skill or machine use such as routing, jointing, lamination, etc. We will also be open to requests the types of skills you may wish to see. These skills can be used as part of your project or simply practiced.
