Event description

Tuesday 26 April 1pm-3pm - Chingford Park Pavillion. 

Come along to a poti harakeke workshop, and make yourself a model flax canoe. 

Wear your gumboots to sail it down the creek. 

Listen to stories of ancient sea voyages with Kaitrin McMullan and Clare Cross from Open VUE (The Valley Project), North East Valley.

This event suits all ages, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Materials supplied.

(Remember to bring your gumboots because you could get wet sailing your waka in the creek.)
