Wonderful Wildflowers and Birds in Tanunda
Event description
Enjoy a peaceful wildflower walk through remnant bushland whilst admiring the many wonderful birds that call this place home.
We invite you to join Trees For Life's friendly and knowledgeable
staff to learn how local volunteers are helping to preserve this beautiful bushland. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about local
native plants in the Barossa region and how to recognise and appreciate
a variety of local bird species, binoculars will be available to help.
This walk is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike. No previous experience is required.
On the day you will need:
* Suitable clothing (hat, long pants and long sleeved shirt)
* Strong enclosed shoes
* Drinking water and a snack
A detailed description of where to meet your guide on site will be sent to registrants before the event.
This
activity is suitable for anyone in general good health. Disability parking is available with ramp access to the path. The trail is a wide, flat, gravel access path for one half of the walk, the remainder of the path is undulating ground, climbing over logs and under branches.
This activity is suited to ages 5+.
There is a toilet located on site.
