Event description

DIY 'PLANTASTIC' PLANTER BOX WORKSHOP

with MATHILDE POLMARD

Our 'Plantastic' wood workshop is perfect for beginners who are interested in making something functional to take home or for gifting. Our small class sizes will not only give you the opportunity to learn and practise useful techniques and skills, it will build your confidence to have a go at other projects at home.

You will learn how to build the planter box from palings, though the design could also be adapted to make use of other wood such as pallets. Tools and machinery available include the circular saw, drop saw, bench saw, drills, electric planes, brad nailers, and sanders.  Techniques include measuring and cutting to length, rebates (aka rabbets), drilling and fixings, butted and mitred joints.

If you have already completed on one of our workshops, you can claim a 10% discount off non-material costs at checkout for this one.

Limited spots available, so reserve yours today!
