A fireside chat about bushfire safety: Woodend community information session
Description
Join members of the Woodend CFA for a pint and a yarn about their lessons from fighting the recent Harcourt fire on how we can prepare for bushfire safety in Woodend. Come for an informal drink, conversation with other locals and the CFA, and ask your questions about being safe this fire season.
The event is held in the upstairs room of The Victoria Hotel, Woodend. Drinks and food are available for purchase at the bar. A collection tin will be available for anyone wanting to donate to a relief appeal for those who lost their homes in Harcourt.
Event is free, but please RSVP so we have a sense of numbers. Please pass this invitation on to your friends and neighbours.
