Woodleigh Year 10 Formal 2026

All Year 10 Students are cordially invited to attend the 2026 Year 10 Formal. An exciting evening inspired by the glamour and energy of New York City.

This is for Year 10 Woodleigh students only. 

Consent to Go approval is required for this event and every attendee must book a ticket no later than Monday 7 September.

The evening is a chance to celebrate our students, and as this is a School event, standard School rules concerning behaviour do apply.

These guidelines have been written to ensure everyone attending (including staff) has an enjoyable evening. 

1. The aim of the Formal is for all members of Year 10 to have a good night without anyone feeling excluded. 

2. The Formal is restricted to current students of Year 10. 

3. Standard school expectations concerning behaviour apply, for example, vaping, smoking, and alcohol. If you are under the influence of alcohol or have alcohol in your possession, you will be asked to leave immediately. 

4. Arrival time is 7 p.m.; departure time is 10 p.m. You are expected to be in the Hall at all times except for when in the Hall foyer for food and drinks. Students must attend for the entire event and cannot leave early.

5. It is school policy that large, open-invitation, pre or after parties DO NOT occur. It is appropriate to gather with your friends, but open-invitation gatherings can get out of hand. 6. The day of the formal is a regular school day with standard school hours and it is a regular school day following. Students are expected to be in attendance on both days (Thursday and Friday), for full days. 

7. Parents are required to collect students from the Hall at the end of the evening. 

8. Everyone attending needs to be aware of these guidelines.
