Get ready to strum, sing, and smile! Join Woody and his colourful friends for a fun, hands-on ukulele adventure where everyone becomes a musician. With 45 ukuleles to hand out, kids (and grown-ups!) learn to play real songs in minutes — then join in for a joyous sing-along finale. It’s interactive, musical, and full of laughter as Woody’s Ukulele School brings the magic of music to life.
The workshop is suitable for children aged 7 years +
Please be advised that children under the age of 13 years are to be accompanied by an adult at this activity.
If you are unwell or cannot attend, please contact the library as soon as you are able to allow someone else to take your place.
About Woody Clark:
Woody Clark is one of Australia’s favourite children’s music specialists, entertainers, and educators. A songwriter for ABC Kids, he’s taught over 10,000 children to strum their first tune through his travelling ukulele school and performed at major festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, and Adelaide Fringe.
With his signature blend of bush storytelling, eco-friendly songs, and playful puppetry, Woody celebrates the joy of making music together. His performances bring laughter, learning, and a big dose of Aussie heart to kids and families everywhere.
