Nestled in the heart of Woolgoolga, a vibrant coastal town known for its rich cultural heritage, the Woolgoolga Art Gallery has established itself as a hub for artistic brilliance. Now, the gallery invites local and regional artists to share the magic of their works first-hand in the Woolgoolga Art Prize where we celebrate people's creative endeavours. Â

Artwork must be dropped off at the gallery: Between 10:00am - 1:00pm Sunday 25th August (or by arrangement)
Opening night: Friday 30th August at 6:00pm
Collection: 10:00am - 1:00pm Tuesday 1st October (or by arrangement)

Tickets will be $15 at the door on the night
If you are sending your work in, you are responsible for the cost of freight to have your work delivered to and from Woolgoolga Art Gallery - please send your return freight docket with your artwork. No artwork will be returned without the appropriate documentation.Â

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Works must be unaided and original, executed in the last 12 months and not shown previously in any gallery or have won a prize in any other exhibition |

The signed entry form is binding. No alterations to the title, section or price are allowed |

The organisers reserve the right to reproduce any exhibit in the media, for any reason, without incurring costs |

An exhibit may not be entered in more than one section |
5 |
All exhibits are displayed at the owner’s risk. Every care is taken, but the organisers accept no liability for loss and/or damage |

All exhibits must be for sale and clearly labeled with the Humanitix entry form |
7 |
A commission of 25% applies to all sales |
8 |
All exhibits are held for the duration of the exhibition |
9 |
No business card or promotional material is permitted with the exhibits |
10 |
The organisers reserve the right to display any exhibit or not to display an exhibit as the organisers see fit |

Unsold works must be collected from the exhibition during the specified times. Uncollected work will incur a handling fee or be disposed of at the Committee’s discretion |

Should any dispute arise for which no specific rule applies, the decision of the Committee will be final. A minimum of 5 entries/ section are required to award 1st prize and at least 10 entries/ section to award both 1st and 2nd prize. The Committee reserves the right to withhold prize money for any section with insufficient entries |

The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. |

The Woolgoolga Art Prize will be decided with the accord of the judges. In the event of an equal judgement prize money will be split |

Hanging requirements: a) All entries must be less than 1 square metre and no heavier than 20 kg, unless there is prior approval from the Committee b) Exhibit sizes to be shown on entry form c) Hanging exhibits must have an appropriate and secure hanging system d) To assist the judges, artists may include a note specifying the handmade components of their work |
