Event description

There’s a new group about to form in Woolgoolga thats aim is to record as many family histories as possible.

There are so many stories of old about Woolgoolga and the Northern Beaches that are being lost as our oldest generation are passing away.

The group plans to meet on the last Thursday of the month at the Mud Brick community Hall, 6 Boundary Street, Woolgoolga. The first meeting will be Wednesday March 29 at 5.30pm.

The intention is for people to come and share their stories, which will be recorded and scribed and published either here in Woopi News or on our website.

Everyone is welcome to come, no matter how old or young your family history is.

If you can’t make it but have a story and/or photos to share, you are most welcome to send to woolgoolgafamilyhistory@gmail.com

The group is yet to be named, so it is open to suggestions and is after a volunteer to scribe the stories each month for publication. Any takers?
