Our Gala Event will be hosted by local theatre director and actor Lyall Brooks (Lab Kelpie). The night kicks off with a delicious dinner brought to you by Hotel Bellinzona and the dulcet tones of duo Late Night Radio featuring local chanteuse Cherie Bridges.
Next on the bill is On the Couch with Beck Lister – part chat show, part therapy session! Beck will be in conversation with author Tony Birch (Women & Children and The White Girl ), journalist and author Jenny Valentish (The Introvert's Guide to Leaving the House ) and songwriter, musician, author and disability advocate Eliza Hull ('Running Underwater').
Last on the bill – warm up your vocal cords cos you're on next with Lit-Karaoke, brought to you by Castlemainaoke and starring MC Matt and YOU! This is Karaoke with a literary twist...think "Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush meets "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Dress in your literary finest!
