Words Worth You

Welcome to Words Worth You,

This is a space for expression, active listening, poetry, music, stories, fun, reflection, community, silliness, sincerity and connection.

This is our fourth event and I'm so excited to welcome you.

Words Worth You features both open mic performances and a new collaborative creation made by all attending our events -

The poem our audience created at our last session:

"That man who stole beauty thinking it was his alone to own

To grasp and grapple until meaning falls to the floor

With the clear and shattering vision of so many crystal dreams

"Jinkies," the bastard cried out.

"I'm so tired of all this grasping and grappling"

This was never the point nor the desired direction, the crystal waters were muddied.

The more clenched the fist, the faster beauty slips away,

But beauty beheld this poor bastard and spoke kindly

'Loosen your grip dear bastard, I'll never leave while you're looking for me'

The mushrooms were kicking in.

They were all indeed.

For all us here. Bastardly beautiful.

Beauty was not for the man to understand"

There will also be food and refreshments, and hopefully a lot of joy! The ticket price goes straight to the venue and the running costs of our events.
