Event description

Develop Your Allied Health Workforce Plan in 90 Days - Course Introduction

This comprehensive program leads you through a structured process to develop a workforce plan that is tailored to the specific needs of your organisation.

The step-by-step approach starts by understanding the current state of your organisation's workforce, identifying existing challenges and projecting future needs and impacts. The outcome of the process is an Allied Health Workforce Plan that aligns with your organisation's goals and objectives.

The content is delivered as part of an online community of practice which includes interactive, structured online content, supported by weekly tutorials over 90 days to help you achieve specific milestones. You will continue to receive support from your community of practice and tutors for the remainder of the year while you finalise and implement your Allied Health Workforce Plan.

The full 6-month Allied Health Workforce Planning program starts on 31 October 2023, but we are providing this free introductory webinar to allow you to learn more about the program, ask questions, and meet the expert facilitators prior to enrolling. Join us on Wednesday, 11th October 2023 at 2:00pm (AEDT) for a virtual Q+A all about Allied Health Workforce Planning.

To read more about the full program offering, please see below.

Throughout the program, we will use established workforce planning frameworks and tools, as well as allied health specific examples; a structured engagement and project governance approach to support project sustainability; and the tools to present and pitch your final solution to your stakeholders.

Our program is specifically designed for allied health professionals, employers, professional associations, and other healthcare providers. You will explore the workforce challenges facing the allied health professionals you represent and develop targeted strategies to overcome these challenges.

By the end of this program you will have a structured workforce plan that is aligned with your organisation's goals and objectives and optimised to meet the needs of your allied health workforce. You will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to drive workforce planning initiatives and create a more efficient, effective, and sustainable healthcare organisation.
