Workforce Planning - For the sexual violence, domestic and family violence and women’s health and wellbeing workforce

It’s an exciting time for WorkUP Queensland! We are ready to work with our colleagues in the women’s health and wellbeing, sexual violence and domestic and family violence sector to shape our next 5-year state-wide plan to support a strong and sustainable workforce.

We invite you to join us at upcoming workforce planning activities to contribute your knowledge and ideas.

Workforce planning is about ..

Right people, rights skills, right numbers, right location, right time, organised and interacting in the right ways to deliver the right services for better wellbeing and care of the community.

Workforce Planning workshops will be held across 10 locations throughout April and May and be facilitated by the WorkUP Queensland team.

We invite you to join us to:

Imagine the women’s health and wellbeing, sexual violence and domestic and family violence sector workforce needed into the future.
Share advice about current workforce strengths, challenges, and priorities in your local context.
Consider big picture reforms and emerging evidence about what people with lived experience want from services.
Provide feedback about the types of workforce development strategies that work well for your services.
Explore, use and take-away new resources developed by WorkUP Queensland to support services to undertake their own workforce planning and development activities.

We believe the workforce can be a significant driver of change in ending violence against women and children. Our job is to enable the workforce to do that, so please come along and have your say!

Morning tea, lunch and resources will be provided.
