Burnout & Fatigue: The Silent Safety Hazard
Feeling worn out or noticing slower responses on-site?
Fatigue is more than just tiredness—it’s a silent safety hazard that can impact performance, decision-making, and overall workplace health.
Join our hands-on Fatigue Management Workshop, designed to help you and your teams:
Spot fatigue early: Recognise both physical and mental signs before they become risky.
Understand the root causes: Learn how shift patterns, sleep disruption, environmental factors, and lifestyle choices contribute to fatigue.
Build an effective control strategy: Explore a systematic framework—identify risks, assess them, implement practical controls, and continuously review effectiveness.
Foster a safety-first culture: Encourage consultation, shared responsibility, and proactive fatigue management among employees and supervisors.
By blending expert insights with practical tools, this workshop empowers teams to proactively reduce fatigue-related hazards—for safer, smarter operations.
What is fatigue?
Fatigue is not just feeling tired—it’s a state of physical and/or mental exhaustion that diminishes one's ability to work safely and effectively. It may stem from prolonged activity, sleep deprivation, or circadian disruption, and can be triggered by both work-related and personal factors, accumulating over time.
Why it matters:
Unchecked fatigue doesn’t just reduce performance in the moment—it raises immediate safety risks (impaired judgment, delayed reaction times, reduced concentration) and contributes to long-term health issues, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and mental health challenges.
