Forum | QLD - Continuous Improvement - The 8 Wastes
Event description
Join Us for our QLD state CI forum on tackling the 8 Wastes.
Sharpen Your Skills, Eliminate Waste, and Drive Real Results
Join us for a practical and engaging full-day forum designed to strengthen your Continuous Improvement capability and deliver measurable impact in your workplace.
This forum focuses on tackling the 8 wastes of Lean, captured in the easy-to-remember DOWNTIME acronym: Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, Non-utilised talent, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, and Extra-processing.
We will capture the initiatives from the experience in the room to develop a picture of the most effective waste elimination initiatives.
Through a mix of presentations, interactive discussions, and case studies, you’ll explore proven methods to identify and eliminate waste across your operations.
In addition, our guest speaker will guide you in diving deep into reducing the specific Inventory wastes, including Overproduction and Inventory—helping you free up resources, improve flow, and boost efficiency.
You'll walk away with:
• Practical tools you can apply immediately
• Fresh insights from real-world examples
• A network of peers dedicated to Continuous Improvement
This is an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day, refine your CI approach, and build the momentum to make meaningful change across your organisation.
