This working group will focus on Supplier Partnering and Value Adding

Supplier Partnership. A commitment over a period of time to collaborate to the mutual benefit of both parties, sharing relevant information and the risks and rewards of the relationship. If both parties do not benefit from the relationship, there is no partnership.

Which suppliers do you have partnerships with based on the definition above?

At what stage of your business processes should you be collaborating with your suppliers to create the most value for each party.

We all know about the term voice of the customer. Do your suppliers have a voice as well.

We are interested in discussing what organisations are doing around this topic so as a community we can all improve and benefit together.

Protocols to create partnerships.
Ways to increase value with a partnership.
When do we engage with key supply chain partners?
How do we create a community of suppliers relevant to our business?
Agreements around value adding and relation to prices.

We understand within our own facilities that clear direction and collaboration across the value stream provides greater benefits than working alone so let’s discuss how we are can extend this thinking into our supply chain.
