Working Group | Attracting the talent of the future to your organisation
Event description
Our workforce is aging along with our population.
Some manufacturing industries or roles are not glamourous or initially attractive to the younger generation.
When you advertise via traditional means you are competing against others from the same talent pool or you miss the talent pool completely.
Have you thought about where are the younger generation of manufacturing talent is in your local area and what you need to do to attract them to your business?
Is your organisation seen as a viable employment option in your community?
Wouldn’t it be great to tap into the knowledge of others and find out ideas on how to successfully attract younger people into your business.
There are organisations that exist that specialise in bringing young talent and industry together so come along and find out who they are.
The agenda for the day will include,
- Introductions – an opportunity to build upon your network.
- Participant working group activity to provide an opportunity for detailed discussion and sharing on what you are doing around this topic.
- Presentation.
- Key insights review.
- Reflection on what you can take back to your business to create a positive change.
