Working in Wyndham- Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre

Working in Wyndham will be 90 minutes workshops delivered by Jobs Victoria Advocate and local employment and education services and facilitate: 

• A hands-on workshop to learn how to tailor a resume and cover letter to apply for any position

- Participants will use council computers or own laptops to work on resumes and cover letters at the workshop and learn what to look for in the Position description.

• Know what other supports are available to open new doors

- During or after each session, participants can chat 1:1 with the Advocate to identify the other services and support available to find work or change their careers.

- Employment and Education Services in the Opportunity Wyndham partnership will be invited to discuss their service offer and eligibility.

- Participants will meet local employment service providers face-to-face. 

• Learn tips on growing and leveraging networks in Wyndham 

- Participants will be connected to the Wyndham Emerging Professional's Network to grow meaningful professional connections and social capital through monthly topic-based meetups.
