Working Together for the River Forum 2026

Join us for this year’s Forum, inspired by the recently launched, Walking Together for Country: A collaborative guide to caring for the upper Murrumbidgee catchment. The guide sets a shared vision for how we can honour Country, embed cultural leadership, and work collectively to care for our rivers, landscapes, and communities.

Building on the success of our previous Working Together for the River forums, this year’s event offers the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers, explore two significant policy initiatives, share practical experiences, and discuss innovative approaches to caring for Country and sustaining healthy landscapes and waterways for future generations.

Whether you live or work on Country, are involved in land and water management, community, conservation, cultural care or simply interested in the future of the catchment, the Forum offers a welcoming space to connect, listen, learn and contribute.

This event is free, however, you must register to attend.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements - email Trixi at contact@umcn.org.au by 16 June. Thank you.
