Event description

Learn about the editorial process and how to get the most out of the all-important author–editor relationship.

Whether you’re looking to publish with a traditional publishing house or planning to publish independently, working with a professional editor is a key part of the journey. Kate Stevens draws on her extensive experience as an in-house and freelance editor to illustrate exactly what you can expect at each stage of the editorial process – from the developmental or structural report and the copyedit, right through to the proofread. She’ll give you tips on how to get the most out of every edit and answer any questions you have about the process.
