Call out to First Nations artists in the Goulburn Valley!!!
You are invited to a series of free visual arts workshops with Yorta Yorta visual artist Troy Firebrace.
These workshops are an important opportunity to develop, enhance and explore your connections with country and your own creative practice. Artists working in any medium are welcome to participate.
- Take a deep dive into your identity as an artist
- Develop your understanding of your own unique style and approach
- Learn how to develop a concept with deliberate choices in medium, techniques and aesthetics
- Work towards a final piece that showcases this journey of developing your style and identity
Workshop 1:-Intro to Program and Artist Development
Wednesday 6 September, 5.30pm - 7:30pm
Workshop 2: Draft Concept Development and Folio Work
Wednesday 13 September, 5:30 - 7:30pm
Workshop 3: Identity Development and Final Artworks Displayed
Wednesday 20 September, 5:30 - 7:30pm
Basic art materials will be supplied and light refreshments.
