Biochar is a form of charcoal which can significantly improve your soil's physical, chemical and biological properties resulting in improved water holding capacity and healthier, more productive gardens.

Biochar has been used in the Transition Town Vincent's (TTV) community food forest planting at Britannia Reserve with impressive results.

The workshop will involve demonstrations and establishment of a trial plot at the community garden.
