Workshop - Care and Preservation of Small Home Collections
Description
Have a small family history collection at home that wants love and care? Want to know more about making your keepsakes safe for future generations? Learn from a professional conservator about care and preservation for your small home collections, including handling, storage, and tips for preventing deterioration of your paper, photograph, and textile objects.
If you wish, you may bring a single item from your own home collection along to this workshop to discuss with the conservator toward the end of the session, or if suitable, to use as an example demonstration piece during the workshop. We want to make this session as practical and interesting as we can, so please don't hesitate to bring along an item of your own or ask any questions you like!
