Feeling stuck or searching for fresh inspiration? Join award-winning author and ‘Queen of Creativity’ Cristy Burne to learn the secrets of storytellers that will help you connect more deeply with others, build confidence in your voice and find joy in creative expression. Whether you're looking to write your family stories or invent your own – or just want to try something new – you'll learn heaps of useful tips and have buckets of fun too!
All welcome. Cristy can adapt the workshop to suit all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned writers and everything in between.
All materials supplied. Nibbles and drinks will be provided thanks to the generosity of the Newman Public Library team.
Unless the workshop is full, walk-ins will be welcomed without a ticket. Booking early ensures you don’t miss out and we have enough materials and refreshments for everyone!
ABOUT CRISTY
Cristy Burne is a children’s author, a scientist, a journalist, and an adventurer. Cristy has written 18 books with her work recognised by the WA Premier’s Book Awards, the Wilderness Society’s Environment Award, and WA Young Readers Book of the Year Awards.
