Event description

By taking rubbings from our immediate surroundings, we will find new ways of seeing what is around us and explore the creative possibilities of what is at hand.

The workshop will take as a prompt Max Ernst’s less-known frottage work and demonstrate the exciting possibilities of composition, colour and texture in developing artwork.  This workshop is led by Nadine Christensen. It is open to all skill levels, and suitable for school-aged children if accompanied by a parent.

Auslan interpretation is available on request. Buxton Contemporary and the workshop space is wheelchair accessible, via a ramp on the ground floor and lift to the second level. If you have other access needs, please let us know at the time of booking and we will be in touch.
