Do you have a story that needs to be told? Join Khale McHurst to learn the basics of graphic memoir – how to frame your story, design your characters, flesh out scenes, and find your voice. Khale brings years of experience telling complex and vulnerable stories about mental illness, queerness, and personal growth.

This workshop is suitable for all ages from 12 years old up, but aimed mainly at older audiences.

This free workshop will be held in the Northern Gallery at Adelaide Town Hall, 128 King William St, Adelaide, alongside the Papercuts Comics Festival Market Day happening from 11am to 5:00pm at the Auditorium in the same building.

This is the last of four one-hour workshops to be held during the course of the Market Day.

This workshop is strictly limited to 16 participants and bookings are essential. All workshop materials will be provided. Please arrive at the venue at 3:15pm for a start time of 3:30pm.
