Want to grow your own vegetables?

There are so many benefits to growing your own food - taste, cost, freshness and improved health to name just a few! If you are thinking about starting a garden, or you want to get better results from your existing garden, this is the workshop for you! 

Cessnock City Council is coordinating a workshop on ‘Grow your own veggies’ in Kurri Kurri. The workshop is conducted by Maplewood Permaculture, focusing on bed preparation, succession planting, maintenance, and a bit on crop rotation. Will and Anthea from Maplewood Permaculture will give you all the tips and tricks to successfully growing your own food, in this practical and informative workshop. The workshop is relevant if you are growing on acreages or on a small balcony. 

BYO lunch, snacks, water bottle and gloves. Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes. 

Any cancellations must give at least 24 hours' notice, so others don't miss out. Please do not acquire tickets for children attending on the day who are under 16 and will not be participating fully in the workshop.
